To dos


In BMC Helix Business Workflows, a to do is a type of task that is assigned to an end user to perform certain activities for a line of business. Based on the line of business, the task labels and categories for to dos can be assigned.

Scenario

Ajay, a case business analyst, creates to dos and adds them to the task flow of the case for Britney, an end user, to complete certain onboarding activities. Britney views the to dos that are assigned to her in BMC Helix Digital Workplace Advanced, and works on them. 

Ajay sets one or more reminder notification for the to dos before or after the target due date so that Britney is aware that the due date of the to dos is approaching or has passed. He also creates a questionnaire in Digital Workplace Catalog and saves to the to dos template as the task dynamic data questions. 

Britney sees the reminder notification in her email inbox before the target due date, or after the target due date.  She can also view the questions in BMC Helix Digital Workplace Advanced and provide answers.
