Setting up date and time format for your line of business

As a case business analyst, you can configure the date (dd MMM yyyy) and date-time (dd MMM yyyy hh:mm:ss) format displayed for your line of business. This format is applicable for emails, notes, notifications, and documents.

You can also view the date and time based on the locale you select for the template. You can view the date in any locale supported by BMC Helix Business Workflows.

By default, when a case agent creates a case, the time zone of the requester's primary site is considered as the case time zone. You can configure the time zone in which the date and time are displayed. To learn more about configuring the time zone, see Setting-up-the-time-zone.
