Configuring emails sent from cases

To enable Bcc recipients in emails for a line of business

As a case business analyst, allow users to add Bcc recipients in emails for your lines of business by enabling the ALLOW_BCC_RECIPIENTS configuration. Users can add Bcc recipients when they compose an email from the case or task or when they reply to emails in the activity feed. By default, the ALLOW_BCC_RECIPIENTS configuration is disabled for a line of business.

  1. Log in to BMC Helix Business Workflows as a case business analyst, and click Settings Settings icon.png.
  2. Select Line of Business > Manage Line of Business.
  3. On the Application Configurations tab, click ALLOW_BCC_RECIPIENTS.
  4. On the Edit Configuration page, enable Bcc recipients for emails by selecting 2102_ToggleIcon.jpg.
  5. Click Save.

To configure email addresses and domains for outgoing emails

As a case business analyst, configure trusted email IDs and domains to be allowed in the outgoing email from a case or task by enabling the TRUSTED_OUTGOING_EMAILS configuration. By default, all email addresses and domains are allowed in the outgoing email for the line of business.
