Controlling user access to email templates
In BMC Helix Business Workflows, by default, users from a line of business can access email templates created for that line of business. An email template manager or a case business analyst can control user access for an email template. By restricting access, you prevent other support groups or unauthorized users from viewing confidential data in the templates. The user who created an email template will still be able to access it even if the user is not in the support group to which the email template is restricted.
To add or remove user access to email templates
- Log in to BMC Helix Business Workflows.
- Click Settings
- If you have access to a single line of business, the line of business is selected by default.
- On the Edit Email Template screen, in the Template access section, click Edit.
In the Edit Template Access screen, you can view the line of business, support groups, and agents who have access to the email template. - Add or remove access for support groups and users.
- Click Close.
