Reconciling existing case-specific customized views to use line of business after upgrading to 20.08.01
The line of business feature helps customers to segregate their line of business specific data. After you upgrade to 20.08.01 or later, you can use the extension container to customize your views. However, if you have not used the extension container to customize views, you must delete the existing customization, and re-create the customized case views to view the line of business functionality. You must create the customized views first in your tailoring environment.
The Line of Business field is added to the following case views:
- Case Edit - com.bmc.dsm.case-lib:Case Edit
- Case Create - com.bmc.dsm.case-lib:Case Create
- Cases - com.bmc.dsm.case-lib:Cases

To reconcile the views
- As a tenant administrator, log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio.
- Click Case Management Service.
- Click Views.
- Delete the existing customized view.
- Redo the customization.
- Save the view.
What to do next?
After the customized views are reconciled, complete the following steps:
- Create the content package and deploy the package on the QA environment.
- Test the package on the QA environment and ensure that all changes are working.
- Share the content package with BMC Support.
- Ask BMC Support to raise a Change Request to deploy the content package in same production upgrade window.
