Viewing HR Case Management reports


You can view BMC HR Case Management reports that help you analyze the work of HR department. You can view reports and dashboards using the Reporting Console. The Reporting Console is a link that you click to navigate to the BMC Remedy Smart Reporting tool.

Who has access to Reporting Console 

Note

If BMC Remedy Smart Reporting has not been configured to use BMC HR Case Management, the Reporting Console is unavailable to any BMC HR Case user. For details on Smart Reporting configuration, see Configuring-integration-with-BMC-Remedy-Smart-Reporting.

When the BMC Remedy Smart Reporting is configured to use the BMC HR Case Management, the HR Case user selected as Smart Reporting Administrator during the onboarding procedure, has Admin role in BMC Remedy Smart Reporting, and can grant permissions to other BMC Remedy Smart Reporting users.

All BMC HR Case Management users, except those who have Standard Viewer role, appear in the Administration Console of the BMC Remedy Smart Reporting, and by default have Reports Consumer role.  When new users are added in BMC HR Case Management, they are automatically synchronized with the BMC Remedy Smart Reporting. To access the Reporting Console

  1. On the BMC HR Case Management home page, click the Actions tab.
  2. Click the Reporting Console menu.
    The BMC Smart Reporting console opens.
