Running the BMC HR Case Management installer
This topic describes how you can use the installation wizard to install BMC HR Case Management 4.6.0.0 or BMC HR Case Management 4.6.00.001 on your dedicated BMC Remedy AR System server.

To install BMC HR Case Management on an AR System server
On the BMC Remedy AR System server, unzip the suite installer:
BMCHRCaseManagement4.6.00.windows.zip if you are installing BMC HR Case Management 4.6 or
BMCHRCaseManagement4.6.00.windows.zip if you are installing patch 1 for BMC HR Case Management 4.6- Navigate to the Disk 1 folder.
- Start the installer. For Windows, run setup.exe.
- In the Introduction step of wizard, click Next.
- Review the license agreement, select I agree to the terms of license agreement, and then click Next.
- Enter the values from the planning worksheet for the features that you want to install.
See Installation-worksheets. After you have entered the required information, the installer validates your input. The Installation Preview pane then appears, listing the product and features that will be installed. - Click Next.
After postinstallation cleanup, a summary of the installation appears. - Click View Log to review any SEVERE error messages or warnings in the product installer log.
See whether errors are due to network, host, or other environment-related issues. You can view your log file (bmchrcasemanagement4.6.00_install_log.txt or bmchrcasemanagement4.6.00.001_install_log.txt.) of the installation at the following location: C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Temp.
- When you are finished reviewing the log, close it.
- Click Done to exit the installer.
