Installing silently
In a silent installation, you run the installation program from a command line. When you execute a silent installation, you specify an options file (options.txt) that provides the installation settings to the program.
A silent installation enables you to install or upgrade in a headless environment on Linux, or to install on or upgrade multiple systems at the same time. This section describes how to work with silent installations and contains the following topics:
