Enabling the chat submenu in the Self Service Portal


The chat submenu includes selections for Settings (if automatic translation is configured) and Logout. By default, this menu is disabled.

  1. From the IT Home Page, select Virtual Chat > Administration Console.
  2. Select Self Service Portal > Configuration.
  3. Select the Application Portal - Interface entry from the list.
  4. Click Modify.
    The corresponding XML section appears in the editor. 
  5. In the <submenu> tag, change the value of <allowSubMenu> to true.
  6. Set one or both of the submenu selections to true.
  7. Click Save.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
