Viewing BMC Live Chat license reports


Because BMC Live Chat is sold by user, you may need to monitor the number of licenses in use. The License Usage Report summarizes in real time the number of fixed and floating licenses in use by permission group and more details on each user. You can easily track when your software license compliance and plan your licensing needs.


The following figure shows the chart results after running the License Usage Report.

Before you begin

You must have Supervisor or Admin permissions to run the License Usage Report.

To view the license report

  1. Click AR System Administration > AR System Report Console.
  2. For Show, select All Reports.
  3. For Category, select Virtual Agent > Chat > All Reports
  4. Select Live Chat:License Usage Report, and click Run

  5. In the Parameters dialog box, specify the start and end dates, and click OK

  6. In the pie chart, click a slice to view details.

    • The chart shows the number of licensed users by permission groups. 
    • The User Details displays the AR System information for each licensed user: the full name, login ID, and the license type for the users' permission group. 

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
