Insight Finder agent
Today, IT organizations manage an increasing amount of data. Turning this data into actionable insights is often time-consuming and technically challenging. People in roles such as service managers, operations managers, or analysts need to visualize and analyze this data.
Insight Finder is an AI-powered agent that generates visualizations based on natural language inputs. You can provide your requirements to the agent in natural language prompts. The agent converts these requirements into visualizations to analyze data and draw insights. It simplifies dashboard creation and helps you achieve the following goals:
- Make faster decisions from real-time insights
- Save time to create dashboards
- Reduce bias in data visualization

Before you begin
Make sure that the following prerequisites are met:
- You have the appropriate license for using the following products. For more information about licensing, see BMC Helix Service Management service.
- BMC Helix Dashboards version 25.2.00 and later
- BMC Helix ITSM 25.2 or later
- BMC HelixGPT version 25.2.00 and later
- Configure your own Large Language Model (LLM). For more information, see Provisioning and setting up the generative AI provider for your application.
To set up the Insight Finder agent
Perform the following tasks to set up the Insight Finder agent:
