Migrating services from BMC Service Request Management
Before you begin
- Make sure that the administrator has the following permissions:
- Catalog admin (role)
- Request Catalog Manager (role)
SRD Migration Admin (IS persona)
These permissions are granted from Action Request System. For more information, see Creating and modifying users and Creating and assigning functional roles.
- In BMC Helix Digital Workplace Catalog, configure the BMC Helix ITSM connector. For more information, see Helix-ITSM-connector.
- In BMC Helix Digital Workplace Catalog, create templates that you want to use for the services that you want to import. For more information, see Managing-service-type-templates.
- In BMC Service Request Management, make sure that the services that you want to migrate are not offline.
- In BMC Service Request Management, make sure that the embedded PDTs are online.
