Configuring the disclaimer message for BMC HelixGPT responses

End users find answers to questions by accessing the Employee Navigator, powered by BMC HelixGPT. As an administrator, configure the disclaimer message for the BMC HelixGPT responses to make end users aware of the AI limitations, avoiding misinterpretation. You can customize the disclaimer text to suit your business needs and also include a URL redirecting to the company’s official page. This disclaimer encourages users to reconsider their decisions before acting on the suggestions from the Employee Navigator response.

Scenario

Apex Global employees use BMC Helix Digital Workplace for self service. They access Employee Navigator, which is powered by BMC HelixGPT, to find answers to their questions. Allen, the administrator at Apex Global, wants to display a formal disclaimer for the BMC HelixGPT responses for end users to ensure compliance with company policies.
He logs in to the Admin console and turns on the AI disclaimer setting. He configures the following customized text:
The generated response should not be regarded as professional advice from Apex Global.

Allen can set this custom message in the various locales for his company users and add a link to the company policy webpage for employees. After this configuration, when end users log into the end-user console, they see this disclaimer on the screen for the Employee Navigator conversations.

Britney, an Apex Global employee, asks Employee Navigator a query about booking tickets for business travel. She receives responses based on the knowledge articles. She also notices the disclaimer message that Allen configured below the chat. After taking time to reflect on the suggested actions, she makes her decision thoughtfully.
