Enabling users to reassign approvals


As an administrator of Action Request System (AR System), you can enable the reassigning of approvals so that end users can reassign their business request to other approvers. 

Types of approvals that can be reassigned

Reassigning approvals is supported for all types of requests, except delegated approvals. The business requests automatically delegated to alternate approvers cannot be reassigned to other approvers.


Before you begin

Enable one or more of the available approval types in BMC Helix Digital Workplace. For information about how to do this, see Enabling-approvals.

To allow end users to reassign approval of business requests

  1. Log in to Action Request System (AR System) as an administrator.
  2. Select Quick links > Approval Administration Console.
  3. On the Process tab, select a process definition.
  4. On the Process Definition form, select Yes from the Can Reassign? list of the corresponding process.
  5. Click Save.
