Installing BMC Digital Workplace



This section describes how to install the BMC Digital Workplace application for administering the end user request experience. For information about setting up the application to support the enhanced catalog, see Installing-BMC-Digital-Workplace-Catalog.


Best practice
We recommend that you install BMC Digital Workplace on a dedicated server. To avoid issues and to improve performance, do not install on servers that host other applications, such as BMC Remedy Mid Tier.

Before you begin

To plan your 

BMC Digital Workplace

 deployment, complete the steps in Planning, which includes information about system requirements and sizing your environment.

Prepare for installing BMC Digital Workplace by gathering all the required information that is needed during the installation process, downloading installation files, and performing other steps needed prior to installation.
