Upgrading
You can upgrade BMC Digital Workplace Catalog from a supported release to a current release. Before you start the upgrade, make sure you understand the upgrade considerations and processes properly.
The following table describes the stages and actions to perform an upgrade:

2 | Review the worksheet with your IT department to capture information for the existing installation. | |
3 | Coordinate with your IT department for the upgrade, and back up your file systems and database. | |
4 | Download the upgrade files from the Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) site. | |
5 | Create a text file that contains information about the current installation. | |
6 | Upgrade a single instance of BMC Digital Workplace to the latest release. | |
7 | Upgrade multiple servers on which BMC Digital Workplace Catalog is running to the latest release. |
If you use BMC Digital Workplace Catalog, you must upgrade it when you upgrade BMC Digital Workplace.
