Enabling confirmation checks on approving and rejecting requests

Users defined as approvers can approve and reject business requests by clicking the Approve or Reject button on the approval request. By default, no additional confirmation messages are displayed to users.  As a Remedy administrator, you can require users to submit a confirmation in BMC Digital Workplace end user console before they perform any action on the approval request.

To prompt an approver to enter a password when making a change to a request

  1. Log in to AR System as an administrator.
  2. Select Quick links > Approval Administration Console.
  3. On the Process tab, select a process definition.
  4. In the Process Definition form, select Yes from the Require Password? list of the corresponding process.
  5. Click Save.
