Viewing the audit trail for assets

Track-It! provides comprehensive tracking and visibility into both technician and system activities related to IT assets. Every action that is taken on an asset, whether performed manually by a technician or automatically by the system, is captured and displayed in the Audit Trail window. As a technician, you can monitor an asset's entire lifecycle, from deployment to retirement, by capturing key events such as updates, status changes, assignments, and configuration modifications and maintaining a detailed chronological history of these activities.

Important

The audit trail is displayed only if view permissions are granted to the technician group or a user in the Asset form. For more information, see Roles and permissions
