Customizing the logo and background image in Self Service

To customize the logo and login background in Self Service

1. Update the logo on one of the following pages, depending on where you installed Track-It! on the Track-It! web server:
   1. To update the logo on the Self Service login page, perform the following steps:
      

      1. Navigate to trackItInstallationPath\SelfService\Content.releaseNumber.buildNumber\images\Common.

         For Track-It! 2020 Release 01 with build number 086, the path is trackItInstallationPath\SelfService\Content.20.20.01.086\images\Common.
         

      2. Back up the TrackIt.png (230x50) file.
   2. To update logo on the Self Service home page, perform the following steps:
      

      1. Navigate to trackItInstallationPath \SelfService\Content.releaseNumber.buildNumber\images\Custom.

         For Track-It! 2020 Release 01 with build number 086, the path is trackItInstallationPath\SelfService\Content.20.20.01.086\images\Custom.
         

      2. Back up the CompanyLogo.png (775x94) file.
   3. To update the background image on the Self Service login page, perform the following steps:
      

      1. Navigate to trackItInstallationPath\SelfService\Content.releaseNumber.buildNumber\images\Common.

         For Track-It! 2020 Release 01 with build number 086, the path is trackItInstallationPath\SelfService\Content.20.20.01.086\images\Common.
         

      2. Back up the LoginBackground.jpeg file.

2. Create your company logo and background image files to match the dimensions and name of the default files.

   Important

   You must create your company logo with dimensions not more than 775 pixels horizontal and 94 pixels vertical. The aspect ratio is adjusted accordingly.

3. Copy and replace the default files.
   You must clear your browser cache to view the updated branding.
