Remedyforce administration

Support for multi-factor authentication requirement by Salesforce

Administrators can set up multi-factor authentication for the internal users of Remedyforce to log on to their account. Multi-factor authentication is a requirement from Salesforce.

BMC Helix Remedyforce internal users (System Administrators, ServiceDesk Staff, ServiceDesk Change Manager, ServiceDesk Release Coordinator, ServiceDesk Client) can seamlessly work if multi-factor authentication is enabled.

For more information, see Accessing-BMC-Helix-Remedyforce.

Enable users to define the layout of the submitted tickets

For Experience Cloud Sites and Lightning app pages, as a Remedyforce administrator, you can enable the dynamic field rendering feature for the submitted tickets. With this feature, users can configure the ticket layout to display only the fields relevant to the topic of the submitted ticket.

For more information, see Configuring-Lightning-Web-Components.

Add and configure labels on the Service Request form

For Remedyforce Console, Experience Cloud Sites and Lightning app pages, as a Remedyforce administrator, you can add and configure labels on the Service Request form. Users can use these labels to describe the service request and the sections and inputs on the Service Request form.

For more information about Labels, see Input fields for an SRD.

To know how to enable the Label for a Service Request when you upgrade from a previous version of BMC Helix Remedyforce, see Adding Label to the Response type picklist.
