Enabling report types for knowledge articles with linked CIs

For new users on BMC Helix Remedyforce versions Summer 20 Patch 3 and above, the report type for knowledge articles with linked CIs is enabled by default.

However, when you upgrade to BMC Helix Remedyforce versions Summer 20 Patch 3 and above, you need to enable the report type. 

To enable the report type, perform the following steps: 

1. Navigate to the required path: 
   • For Salesforce Classic, go to Setup > Build > Create > Objects.
   • For Salesforce Lightning, go to Setup > Objects and Fields > Object Manager.
2. Search for the Knowledge CI Link object. 
3. Click Edit.
4. Under Optional Features section, select the Allow Reports option. 
5. Click Save.

You can perform these steps for other required objects.
