Alternate keyboard shortcuts

If you want to use alternate keyboard shortcuts for shortcuts that include number keys, you may enable alternate keyboard shortcuts by performing the following steps:

  1. Click the Remedyforce Administration tab.
  2. On the Home page, click the Application Settings tile, and from the menu select General Application Settings.
  3. Select the Enable a different set of keyboard shortcuts in Remedyforce Console check box.

If you enable this setting, the keyboard shortcuts that use number keys are replaced with an alternate set of keyboard shortcuts in the Remedyforce Console. All the keyboard shortcuts except the ones that use number keys are the same as default keyboard shortcuts.

Warning

Note

If you enable using alternate keyboard shortcuts, it will disable the keyboard shortcuts that use number keys for tab navigation in Self Service as these shortcuts use number keys. All the other keyboard shortcuts will remain the same as the default keyboard shortcuts.
