BMC Release Process Management keeps inventory of all the servers and environments. This enables the product to keep a record of application and component deployments that have taken place on each server over a period of time.

Environments

Environments is a collection of server and server groups. Each request associates to an environment for performing deployments.

Servers

Server represents one physical server or virtual machine. Each step refers to the servers associated to the component on specified environment to carry out the deployments.
