  • Creates new user roles to provide or limit access permissions to BMC Release Process Management
  • Assigns user roles to groups of users rather than to individual users
  • Provides access to an application to a team that consists of multiple user groups and that contains one or more applications, instead of individual application assignment for users
  • Assigns one or more applications to a team instead of to individual users; teams consist of one or more groups of users

Controls access to new and existing application objects by changing the object's status to one of the following states:

  • Draft
  • Pending
  • Released
  • Retired
  • Archived

This functionality is added to the following BMC Release Process Management objects (or templates):

Uses XML files for importing and exporting applications and application-related objects such as components, environments, request templates, automations, servers and so on.

Creates and uses packages for managing binary files for your applications.
