Administering


The following topics contain information and instructions for administering BMC Release Process Management:

Some key administration tasks include:

  • Creating a user with the following roles: Coordinator, Deployer, Requestor, and User.
  • Enabling Lightweight Directory Authentication Protocol (LDAP) authentication. See LDAP-authentication.
  • Enabling CAS authentication. See  LDAP-authentication.
  • Editing a particular user and setinf a specific role for this user for a particular application or environment.
  • Custom LDAP authentication, See Custom-LDAP-authentication.

The following screen shows where you can assign different permissions to different users. Select the radio button for the corresponding item. To visit this screen, select Users & Groups > Users, then click the user name you want.
