Managing routes
In BMC Release Process Management, during the release process, use routes to determine the order in which the selected sets of environments are accessed by the particular application. Use environment types to determine the environment access policies for routes. Routes along with plans provide enforcement and capability for the processed runs to be manually or automatically promoted to the next plan stages. For more information, see Managing-plan-runs.
You can assign the environments to a particular route. The route gate is the association of an environment and a route.
