Integrating with Secure Shell (SSH)

You can integrate BMC Release Process Management (BRPM) with Secure Shell (SSH) to dispatch the BRPM processes through the SSH target servers. With this integration, you can perform your deployments by using the BRPM interface or through SSH. Therefore, you can perform your deployments on remote target servers by using your existing SSH servers. You can use the set of remote dispatchers available for this integration to trigger your deployment tasks.

Environment requirements

To successfully integrate with SSH and perform your deployments, ensure that your system meets the following requirements:

• Automations are enabled and BRPM engine process is running with SSH installed on the server.
  
• You have SSH installed on the systems that you are deploying to (your target servers).
• The ssh and scp commands are available in the PATH system environment variable on the BRPM engine server.
