With this release, you have the capability of adding global server properties and server properties. By adding global server properties, you can assign properties with a default value to all the objects that support adding properties, such as channel templates, channels, packages (or repositories), instances, servers, and environments. You can change the value of a global server property depending on the Property precedence available. You can also add properties to a server. The server property values get higher precedence over global properties. |

Installing the service pack
The installation program for BMC Release Lifecycle Management 4.3 Service Pack 1 has been enhanced and now enables you to upgrade and perform data migration for both component products included in the suite. Upgrading to version 4.3.01 is now possible not only for the BMC Release Process Management product, but also for the BMC VaraLogix Q Deployment Automation product.
