You can integrate the component products of BMC Release Lifecycle Management 4.3.00 with each other and you can integrate the solution with external systems. Specifically, this release provides the following integrations:

Integrating BMC Release Process Management with BMC VaraLogix Q Deployment Automation

You can integrate version 2.6 of BMC Release Process Management with version 4.3 of BMC VaraLogix Q Deployment Automation. This integration enables you to perform various functions in BMC VaraLogix Q Deployment Automation by using the BMC Release Process Management user interface. You can perform these functions with the help of automation scripts. You can create your own scripts, and BMC provides a default set of scripts that you can import from the library and use to perform the following functions in BMC VaraLogix Q Deployment Automation:

  • Create an instance for an existing package
  • Deploy an instance for an existing package
  • Deploy an instance (for a package) by specifying the exact instance name
  • Create and deploy an instance for an existing package
  • Create an instance for an existing repository
  • Deploy an instance for an existing repository
  • Create and deploy an instance for an existing repository

Integrating BMC VaraLogix Q Deployment Automation with BMC Middleware Automation

You can integrate version 4.3.00 of BMC VaraLogix Q Deployment Automation with BMC Middleware Automation 8.2.03 Patch 3 and later versions. This integration enables you to perform various functions in BMC Middleware Automation by using the BMC VaraLogix Q Deployment Automation user interface. You can perform these functions with the help of actions. You can use the default (out of the box) actions and create new actions to perform the following operations in BMC Middleware Automation:

  • Install a Configuration
  • Preview a Configuration installation
