5.0.01.01: Patch 1 for Service Pack 1
This topic contains information about fixes and updates in this patch and provides instructions on downloading and installing the patch.
Updates
BMC Release Process Management
You can now use advanced include_except filter to exclude unnecessary data and avoid the REST call timeout when using the REST API for the plans and plans stage instances (DRZXB-15792). For more information, see individual API pages under REST-API-version-1.
BMC Release Package and Deployment
While deploying an instance, if the host engine system is 100 percent occupied, then the deployment fails and the error messages do not provide clarity about what causes the failure. Enhanced logging is now provided while creating and deploying an instance that specifies the exact causes for deployment failures (DRVDA-7350).
For information about issues corrected in this patch, see Known and corrected issues. To find the fixed issues for the 5.0.01.01 version, you can sort the issues in the table by the Corrected in column or filter them using the Corrected in list.

- Download (FTP) places the selected items in an FTP directory, and the credentials and FTP instructions are sent to you in an email message.
- Download Manager downloads multiple files consecutively and resumes an interrupted download if the connection drops.
This method requires a one-time installation of the Akami Net Session client program on the target computer and is usually faster and more reliable way to transfer files. A checksum operation is used to verify file integrity automatically.
- Extract the contents of the ZIP files that you downloaded and store them in a temporary directory.
