Operating system and third-party product support for Oracle

The following table indicates the combinations of operating systems and Oracle that are supported by BMC SQL-BackTrack. Support for a version of Oracle on a particular operating system is designated by +. A blank cell indicates no support. BMC SQL-BackTrack does not support ASM databases on the Windows platform.

Note

BMC SQL-BackTrack supports the following versions of Oracle on various platforms:
- Oracle 18c (18.4) on AIX 7.1 and AIX 7.2 for ASM and Non-ASM setup
- Oracle 18c (18.6) on AIX 7.1 for Non-ASM setup
- Oracle 19c (19.3) on AIX and Linux for ASM and Non-ASM setup and on Solaris SPARC and Windows for Non-ASM setup.
- Oracle 19.12 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS 7.9
BMC SQL-BackTrack does not support ASM databases and multitenant databases on the Windows platform.
BMC SQL BackTrack supports RAC on Oracle 11g, 12.1 and 18c versions on Linux.
