Support recovery of pluggable database

BMC SQL-Backtrack for Oracle supports TIME and SCN based recovery of pluggable database in current incarnation of container database.

Pluggable database recovery is not supported on RAC environment.

Support for IBM Spectrum Protect Client 8.x on Unix and Windows platform versions supported by BMC SQL-BackTrack

From the 9.2.00 release, BMC SQL-BackTrack supports IBM Spectrum Protect Client 8.x on all supported platform versions.

Support for NetBackup Client version 9.0 on Unix platform

From the 9.2.00 release, BMC SQL-BackTrack supports NetBackup Client version 9.0 for all Unix platform supported versions.

To use NetBackup Client version 9.0 with BMC SQL-BackTrack, you must install install BMC Recovery Manager Module for Symantec NetBackup patch version 4.0.14.02.

Modify grid parameters in physical profile for multiple databases using dtooptcreate

From the 9.2.00 release, BMC SQL-BackTrack for Oracle supports modification of grid parameters for multiple databases registered in physical profile using dtooptcreate.

In order to modify the grid parameters using dtoopcreate for selected databases or all databases, you can use the options -databases, -database_all alongwith -grid_home, -grid_user, and -grid_password.

Recovering newly added/dropped datafiles in Multitenant DUPDB

For multitenant database, support for addition or removal of datafile from the duplicate database, if any addition or removal of datafile has happened after full backup and archive log backup of same, is available. 

Limitation: Duplicate database operation is not supported for dropped OMF datafiles after full backup in multitenant environment.
