Application license states
When administering applications that require a license for use, BMC AppZone is designed to automatically track and report on the state of your available licenses. In your BMC AppZone store, each application will indicate licenses in one of the following states:
License state | Description |
|---|---|
Purchased | The total number of licenses that you own |
Assigned | The number of licenses that you have assigned to users, before the users have installed the application on a device |
Consumed | The number of licenses that you have assigned to users, after the users have installed the application on a device |
Available | Consumed licenses subtracted from Purchased licenses |
Installed | If you assign a license to a user and they install the application on more than one device, the Installed licenses will increase but the Consumed and Available licenses will remain the same. |
