2014.01 enhancements

This section contains information about enhancements in version 2014.01 of the BMC AppZone product.

BMC AppZone is integrated with BMC MyIT 2.0

BMC MyIT 2.0 supports integration with BMC AppZone, so employees can download, recommend, and promote applications in their app store. IT can track, update, and manage employees' applications on all supported platforms.

End users can see all of the applications that are available for their enterprise and can request access to any application that is available for their enterprise. The status of end-user requests for access to applications is displayed to the end users. Approvers can approve or reject end-user requests for access to applications.

BMC AppZone store administrators enable the catalog of applications that is shown in BMC MyIT and determine whether the applications are shown as optional or as requiring approval.
