Managing groups and user accounts
This topic describes how to manage groups and user accounts after you have created them.

To rename a group
- From the BMC AppZone Administration Console, click People.
The Manage Users page appears. - Click Manage Groups.
The Manage Groups page appears. - In the Groups list, find the name of the group and click Change Name.
- Enter the new group name.
- Click Update to retain these settings.
To delete a group
- From the BMC AppZone Administration Console, click People.
The Manage Users page appears. - Click Manage Groups.
The Manage Groups page appears. - In the Groups list, find the name of the group and click Remove.
- Click OK to confirm that you want to delete the group, or Cancel to keep the group.
To reset user account password
- From the BMC AppZone Administration Console, click People.
The Manage Users page appears. - In the Users list, click the name of the user.
- Click Edit Details.
- Click Reset Password.
- Enter the new password and confirm by entering a second time.
- Click Update to retain these settings.
To modify user contact information
- From the BMC AppZone Administration Console, click People.
The Manage Users page appears. - In the Users list, click the name of the user.
- Click Edit Details.
- Change any of the following information:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Job Title
- Click Update to retain these settings.
To move a user account to different groups
- From the BMC AppZone Administration Console, click People.
The Manage Users page appears. - In the Users list, select the user that you want to move.
- Click Assign User and select Assign Groups to User.
The Assign Groups to User window appears. - In the Groups list, select the groups to which you want to move the user.
- Click Assign.
To switch user status between active and deactivated
- From the BMC AppZone Administration Console, click People.
The Manage Users page appears. - In the Users list, click the name of the user.
- Click Edit Details.
- In Account Status, indicate whether the user is Active or Deactivated.
- Click Update to retain these settings.
To switch role assignment between User and Admin
- From the BMC AppZone Administration Console, click People.
The Manage Users page appears. - In the Users list, click the name of the user.
- Click Edit Details
- In Role, indicate whether the user's assignment is Admin or User.
- Click Update to retain these settings.
To revoke an application license from a user's device
- From the BMC AppZone Administration Console, click People.
The Manage Users page appears. - In the Users list, click the name of the user.
- In the Device list, click the identifier of the device.
- In the list of applications, find the application you want to revoke and click Revoke.
To delete a user account
- From the BMC AppZone Administration Console, click People.
The Manage Users page appears. - In the Users list, select the user(s) that you want to delete.
- In the drop-down list, select Delete.
- Click Delete to confirm that you want to delete the user, or Cancel to keep the user.
