2023 Release 01

This topic contains information about enhancements and features in 2023 Release 01 of the FootPrints product, and provides instructions for downloading and installing the product update.

Enhancements

This product update includes the following enhancements:

Enhancement	Description
Updates to deleting attachments	When you delete an attachment from a record, it is also removed from the file repository. For more information, see Knowledge Article 000407234. Important You can follow the instructions in the Knowledge Article 000407234 to disable this feature, if required.
Improved workspace grid space usage	The Subscribe hyperlinks on different workspace grids are replaced by the Subscribe icon . The Subscribe column is hidden for user roles which do not have the permission to Subscribe to global items. For more information, see Subscribing-to-Global-Tickets.
Improved attachment download process	You can directly download the attachments linked to your tickets by clicking on them. For more information, see Viewing-attachments.
Updates to the request approval process	The Approvals section of a record will always display the voting history, including all pending approvals, in a grid view, showing the vote state, dates, and any comments. If a record has multiple voting cycles, then an approver who is assigned to multiple voting cycles can see the voting history of all the previous cycles that he has been assigned to, as well as the current assigned cycle. Updates to system requirements	Support for Microsoft Internet Explorer is deprecated. For more information, see System-requirements.
