Editing service categories
You can modify the categories that you create for a service portfolio or knowledge base.
To edit a service category
- Open the service portfolio or knowledge base that you want to modify:
- Click the Administration tab.
- In the appropriate section, click the name of the service portfolio or knowledge base, or click Manage to open the container Administration page. Then double-click the container.
The container details page appears.
- In the left pane, click Category Trees.
- Select the category tree that you want to modify and click Edit.
- Modify the category nodes as needed, using the instructions in Creating-category-trees.
- Click Save Definition.
- Publish the container to implement your changes:
- In the breadcrumb trail, click the Service Portfolio or Knowledge Base link.
- Click Save and Publish.
A confirmation message appears. - Click Yes.
The Publication Succeeded message appears, showing the number of errors and warnings.
