Comments Dashboard

The Comments dashboard only works for regular comments and internal comments placed at the bottom of the page.  It does not work with inline internal comments.  However, you can search for inline internal comments.

Note:  When adding inline internal comments, at the beginning of your comment, add "by yourname".  If not, the wiki will not display who entered the comment, as it does if you use the Add Comment button at the bottom of the page, and then click the BMC Internal Comment check box.

To search for inline internal comments.

  1. Type "internal comment" (with quotation marks) in the wiki search field. To leave placeholder pages out of the results list, type -placeholder after "internal comment". Ex: "internal comments" -placeholder.
  2. On the search page, remove the "* OR comment" from "internal comment"* OR comment", so that it only displays "internal comment", then click search.
  3. To filter the results, enter any other criteria, such as by date, then click Filter.
    The Search Results display.

Macro bmc-comment-collector is in development.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
