Removing the default value in a single select field

When you configure FootPrints Service Core, you may need to remove the default value in a single select field.

Warning

Important

The default value is stored in 2 different locations: Fields and Form.

To remove the default value in a single select field

  1. Select the required container.
  2. Select the required record definition.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Go to Fields.
  5. Select and edit the required field.
  6. In the Default Value field, highlight the current choice and use the delete key on your keyboard to remove the value.
  7. Click Save. 
  8. Click Save and Publish.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
