Delete agent user
To delete an Agent from a Workspace:
- Select Edit Agents under Administration | Workspace | Users & Roles on the BMC FootPrints Service Core Toolbar.
- Select the user from the Users drop-down list.
- Click the checkbox to delete the user from the current workspace. A confirmation is displayed.
- Enter your password and click GO. A confirmation is displayed.
- If the user has assignments in the current workspace, an option to re-assign the user's Issues is displayed. There are three choices:
- Leave assignments as-is—The Issues remain assigned to the (deleted) user. When the Issues are viewed, the user ID (not user name) is displayed. The Issues can be re-assigned individually when they are edited.
- Unassign the deleted user from assignments—The user is no longer assigned to the Issues. If the deleted user was the only assignee on an Issue, the Issue becomes unassigned. If the Issue was assigned to other users (or to a Team), the Issue remains assigned to the other users or Team.
- Reassign assignments to—Select a user or Team to whom you reassign the deleted user's Issues. Hold down the CTRL key to select multiple users.
- Check here to disable the default of updating the Date and Time of Last Edit when unassigning or reassigning these Issues—Normally, when an assignment is changed for an issue, the Last Edit date and time are updated. Check this box so that, in this circumstance, the Last Edit date and time are not updated when deleting this user.
- In addition, you can limit the re-assignment or unassignment to certain statuses. For example, you may only want to re-assign Active Issues (Open, Pending, etc.)
- To delete the user from all workspaces, you must go to the System Administration User Management page.
