Closing your tickets
If customers are authorized to close tickets, you can close your own tickets when they have been completed.
To close a ticket
- On your Home page, locate the ticket that you want to close.
- Select the ticket and click Edit.
The ticket details appear with editing enabled. - Review the latest comments in the Description field.
- To update the Description, type the information in the text field.
- In the Status field, select a "closed" status.
- Click Save.
The ticket is closed and email updates are sent to you and the assigned agent. - To close the ticket pane and return to the default view, click the small x on the tab.
