Accessing the Central Management Console

You use the BusinessObjects Central Management Console to configure product security, deploy reports to the BusinessObjects BI server, and perform many other application administration tasks. For complete information about using the Central Management Console, see the Business Intelligence Platform Administrator Guide at PDFs.

To access the Central Management Console

1. Use one of the following procedures:
   • In a web browser, enter the following URL: http://<BusinessObjectsServer>:<port>/BOE/CMC
     <BusinessObjectsServer> is the name of the BusinessObjects Business Intelligence server in your environment, and <port> is the port number used by the server, for example, 8080.
   • From the Start menu, select Programs > SAP Business Intelligence > SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform Central Management Console.
2. Enter user name and password.
3. Select Enterprise for the authentication type if it is not already selected.
4. Click Logon.
