Installation and other product updates
Starting with version 8.9.02, to access BMC Decision Support – Database Automation reports, you do not need to install the product. You just need to run the Content Deployment utility on the computer where BusinessObjects Business Intelligence (BI) platform is installed. For instructions to run the Content Deployment utility, see Performing-the-installation-for-versions-8-9-02-and-later. The BMC Decision Support – BMC BladeLogic Automation Suite installer has been renamed to BMC Decision Support – Network Automation and consists of only the BMC Decision Support – Network Automation installation program, not BMC Decision Support – Database Automation.
In addition, URG Mapper does not transfer user information from the BMC Decision Support – Database Automation data warehouse to BusinessObjects BI. You need to create user accounts in Central Management Console to implement access control. For more information, see Creating-users-in-BusinessObjects-Business-Intelligence.
Supported version of BMC Database Automation
Version 8.9.02 of BMC Decision Support – Database Automation supports version 8.9.02 of BMC Database Automation.
