Navigating the interface


This topic provides an overview of the product UI.

When you first log on to BMC Decision Support – Database Automation, the product opens to the Home tab in a web-based interface, BI launch pad. You can use BI launch pad to view, schedule, and keep track of published Business Intelligence (BI) reports. Home tab

The Home tab provides access to reports that you have recently run or viewed, messages, alerts, and applications.

Documents tab

Reports are stored in the Documents tab.

My Documents

My Documents includes information for your personal use.

You might want to use the My Favorites folder to organize and store your ad hoc and customized reports.

Folders

Folders contains the out-of-box reports that are included with the product.

Inside Public Folders, the BMC Decision Support – BladeLogic Automation Suite folder includes a folder for each product installed in your environment. Those folders contain the out-of-box reports. For example, the BMC Decision Support – Database Automation folder contains that product's out-of-box reports.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
