Providing credentials for Windows scheduled tasks
If you install BMC Decision Support – Database Automation on an OS that uses a locale other than U.S. English, or if the Microsoft Windows scheduled tasks are not being run, provide the administrator user credentials to run the Windows scheduled tasks for the User Role Group (URG) Mapper.

To provide administrator credentials
- Right-click the task and select Properties.
- In the Properties window, in the Run As field, provide the Administrator user name. The user name must be in the form: domain\Administrator or hostName\Administrator.
- Click Set Password and then enter the password in the pop-up window.
- Click OK in each dialog box.
If you change the password in the future, you must repeat this procedure to update the password.
To run a task if it does not run after providing credentials
Complete the following procedure for any task that is not running after providing credentials.
- From the Windows Control Panel, open the Scheduled Tasks utility, or select Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Task Scheduler.
- Right-click the task that is not running and select Properties.
- Click the Actions tab.
- Select the Start a program action and click Edit.
- In the Start in (optional) field, provide the directory path to the task files.
For example, if you are setting this up for the URG Mapper, you would add a path similar to the following:
<BDSDAInstallationDirectory>\lib\URGMapper - Click OK.
You are prompted for the Windows user name and password. - Provide the Administrator user name and password, and click OK to run the task.
