Creating a drill down in a report

This topic provides instructions for creating a drill down in a report. The drill down enables users to view more details about the drill down object, such as a time period.

To create a drill down in a report

  1. Create a report as described in step 1 to 5 of Creating-reports.
  2. In the Query Panel, select Display by Navigation Paths.

  3. Select the desired time period and drag it into the right pane.

  4. Click Run Query.
  5. Click the Analysis tab.
  6. On the Interact tab, click Drill.
     The drill capabilities are applied to the report and users can drill down from the time period.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
