List Unapproved Nodes

The List Unapproved Nodes tool enables you to enumerate the list of servers which are pending approval in BMC Database Automation.

To use the tool, type the following command:

list_unapproved_nodes.pl <manager_fqn> <exec_id>

User example

The following command lists the servers on bdamgr.mycompany.com that are pending approval on May 30, 2013:

list_unapproved_nodes.pl https://bdamgr.mycompany.com:8087 2013-MAY-30

The command returns a CSV formatted file on STDOUT that contains the following columns:

  • Node ID
  • IP Address of the node
  • Hostname of the node
  • Cluster name (if applicable)

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
