Approving hosts

This topic describes how to approve hosts in BMC Database Automation. Hosts that have been discovered are not available for tasks within BMC Database Automation until they are approved.

To approve hosts

1. From the Management Console main page, select Pending Approval > Hosts in the Context Frame.
2. In the Hosts Pending Approval page, check the boxes located next to the nodes you want to approve, and click Next.
   You can sort the list by clicking on any heading link of any of the columns. For example, in the following screen the list is sorted such that the host names are displayed in numerical descending order.e
   
3. In the Approve page, for each node, select the domain where you want the node to appear after approval.
   
4. Click Approve.
    A message indicating that the node has been successfully added appears.

5. Verify that the host has been added to the Context Frame.
