Approving DB2 instances

DB2 instances discovered by BMC Database Automation display in the Pending Approval section of the Management Console.

To approve a DB2 instance

  1. Select Pending Approval > DB2 from the Context Frame.
  2. Check the boxes for the databases that you want to approve.
  3. Click Approve Selected.
  4. In the General page, click Approve.
     A success message appears and the instances no longer display in the Pending Approval section.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
