Sybase environment variables

The following table lists the supported environment variables for Sybase Dataservers and Replication Servers, for each BMC Database Automation activity:

Note

In BMC Database Automation 8.6, the GA_SYBASE_FULL_VERSION environment variable was added. This variable enables scripts to access information from newer Sybase servers that contain longer version numbers without changing the format of the GA_SYBASE_VERSION variable. For example, ASE 15.7 SP110 will have GA_SYBASE_FULL_VERSION set to “15.7.0.110000”, but GA_SYBASE_VERSION will remain set to “15.7.0”.
